Hanne Reese Holm

Lawyer

Hanne is the managing director and founder of Reese Legal, and serves as the responsible lawyer in all our cases.
She has worked with crypto tax cases since 2017, and in 2018 she published the article “Cryptocurrency – tax liability and right to deductions part 1 and part 2” in the professional journal Revisjon og regnskap.
Hanne has extensive experience assisting clients with various challenges within tax and cryptocurrency, and has given several presentations and lectures for the Tax Authority, crypto investors and accountants.
Hanne has a master’s degree in law, specializing in tax law and has also studied computer science. She has previously worked at the Tax Authority and EY, among others.

  • Bing Hodneland Law Firm: Advisory services, investigations and assistance in tax cases, lawsuits, due diligence and transactions.
  • EY / Ernst & Young Law Firm: Advisory services to Norwegian and foreign companies regarding foreign employees in Norway and Norwegian employees abroad.
  • UNE / Immigration Appeals Board: Case processing of appeals regarding pro forma marriages, asylum cases and deportation.

Education

  • 2020: Computer Science: programming and system architecture, University of Oslo. 60 credit points, including introduction to computer technology and object-oriented programming (Python)
  • 2016: Bar admission
  • 2008: Master of Laws, University of Oslo. Master’s thesis: “Room surveillance for investigative, preventive and proactive purposes”
  • 2008: Study abroad, Humboldt University Berlin. Subjects: Laws of war and Air and space law.
